- Beautifully crafted
Haven't installed it yet , it looks like a piece of art. If it functions the way it looks I'll come back and give it 5 stars.
- Beautiful, but a few things to know
We installed this rad in our master bath remodel of our 1920's home. Looks great, plumber said it was easy to install because it was onsite. Two negatives: 1) as another reviewer said, the 'white' is a gray/offwhite mat color. We solved this by actually using a porcelain repair paint to spray the rad portion a brighter white. 2) it does not have an air bleeder valve installed, plumber does not have a way to bleed out the air so we have to wait till it gradually moves through the system.
- quality product
material and construction is excellent. One thing to note is that the "period style" white of the radiator columns is actually an off-white, matte finish...still beautiful, but not a bright gloss white that would match a porcelain bath fixture...
- Excellent fixtures, delivered quickly.
Both my client and my plumber are happy with Hudson Reed's quality and design.
Really nice stuff.
The only thing that keeps me from five stars (half-star, let's say) is that I wished for a bit more detail in the product specifications as shown on the website. More dimensions on the web would allow us to do rough-in more easily prior to delivery.
